What we are reading this week
We are proud to recommend Click, Clack, Moo Cows that Type by Doreen Cronin and illustrated by Betsy Lewin. It features a farm in which the cows find a typewriter and demand electric blankets. When the farmer doesn’t oblige, the cows go on strike. The chickens are next, and after being refused electric blankets, they also go on strike. With no milk and no eggs, the farmer finally compromises and gives the animals electric blankets for confiscation of the typewriter. This is a fun story with colorful pictures and is perfect for young children.
