Art For OWL
Brooklyn native artist, Christopher Saucedo created the exhibition, World Trade Center As A Cloud, to represent the building complex destroyed during the September 11 attacks. Both New York City firefighters, his brothers Stephen and Gregory Saucedo responded on 9/11. Gregory perished in the line of duty during the north tower's collapse. His body was never recovered. Primarily a sculptor, Saucedo typically uses materials such as steel, wood, and cast metal, but also creates drawings and works in mixed media. His art frequently explores themes of loss and survival.
